Today, Oak Grove Dairy is a third generation family business that has been passed down family after family. In 1972, Bernard and Jeanette Kust purchased the factory and made it their own by changing the name to Oak Grove Dairy, Inc.

Throughout the years, Bernard’s sons, Terry and Dave, were able to help out at the factory and become specialized in the process. When the time was right in 2000, Terry and Dave purchased Oak Grove Dairy and became the new owners. Since that time, OGD has exponentially increased its production from 25,000 pounds of milk per day to 190,000 pounds of milk per day. To date, Oak Grove Dairy has made technological updates in equipment and processes to increase efficiency.

Alongside Terry and Dave are Jordan and Jared, Terry’s sons. The business is changing every day and continuing to make the necessary upgrades to adapt to the changing environment. The future plan is to keep Oak Grove Dairy evolving into the new generations, which not many other companies can mimic.
